In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	listen to and follow instructions from the manager to sort and separate donated items	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	identify at least three different categories into which donated clothes may be sorted, eg gender, size, season, colour	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	sort and separate at least two bags or boxes of donated items into categories	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
shown knowledge of
4	at least two health and safety hazards relating to sorting donations, eg broken glass or crockery, pins, sharp items.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
