AS and A-level Business: Our new accredited specification for first teaching in September 2026

We are delighted to let you know that our new AS and A-level Business specification (7137, 7138) has been accredited by Ofqual. For first teaching in September 2026, first AS exams in 2027 and A-level exams in 2028.

With a clear structure, real-world examples, and thoughtfully designed assessments, we have created a qualification with modern, up-to-date content that helps students build the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in today’s environment, whether they’re heading to university, apprenticeships, or straight into the workplace. This isn’t Business as usual – our exciting new specification stands out from the crowd and is built for the future.

To support your teaching and learning from September 2026, we are making the final updates to our sample assessment materials and supporting resources. We will keep schools and colleges updated when these are available - within the next couple of weeks - and about our great new resource offer that will be announced shortly.
