ART AND DESIGN: NATURAL FORM

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will haveEvidence needed

demonstrated the ability to

1. produce a title page that introduces a natural form project

2. select and study at least three natural form based artists and produce own version of each artist’s work

3. analyse, in full sentences, a minimum of three of the artists selected using the key art terms ‘content, form, process and mood’

4. research into a specific area of natural form and produce a visual mood board

5. produce a minimum of four experimental drawings of a flower

6. produce an A3 pencil observational drawing of a flower using tone

7. produce an ink drawing version of the pencil drawing

8. take at least three photographs that relate to the chosen natural form theme, write at least one sentence about each of them, and produce a drawing in any media

9. produce a mixed media piece based on natural form using pencil, crayon, photography, oil, pastel, water colours and gouache paint
