In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
shown knowledge of 1. the name and function of the main parts of the human eye, ie cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, optic nerve	Student completed work
2. own visual impairment including its medical name, causes and effect on own vision	Student completed work
demonstrated the ability to 3. create a 'personal profile' detailing their visual impairment, Including level of vision, own ways of working and support both indoors and outdoors.	Student completed work
