1. enter the cafe and wear the correct uniform

2. wash and dry hands thoroughly

3. check the till has a float

4. greet customers as they arrive and ask for their order

5. collect and pass the required items to the customer

6. use the till and add up the cost of the items

7. tell the customer the overall cost

8. take the correct payment for the sale, ensuring the receipt is stored in the till for card payments and that the correct change is given for cash payments

9. keep the area clean, tidy and hygienic.
