LIFE SKILLS: FASTENING A BUTTON

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. rip paper into strips using the technique of putting their thumbs on top, pushing forward and pulling back	Summary sheet
2. push a ruler through a slit in a piece of card using the same technique of putting their thumbs on top, pushing the ruler through the slit and then pulling it out the other side	Summary sheet
3. push a button through a series of foam squares using the same technique of putting their thumbs on top, pushing the button through and pulling it out the other side	Summary sheet
experienced 4. fastening up buttons on a real shirt using the technique above.	Summary sheet
