demonstrated the ability to

1. open a suitable image in Photoshop

2. create a new layer over the image filled with white

3. view the grid and create equally placed black squares over the document

4. create a new blank layer below the grid layer

5. use the marquee tool to select a square and fill with colour, then repeat until all squares are covered and coloured

6. apply a blend mode to the coloured squares

7. save and print the final image.
