demonstrated the ability to

1. turn on the calculator

2. check that the calculator is working properly by doing a calculation where the answer is known

3. follow written instructions to use each of the four rules of number correctly on a minimum of 10 occasions each and accurately record the answer

4. when finished turn off the calculator.
